- Maintenance:
Maintaining of equipment = maintaining of the business
It is essential that the manufacturing personnel maintain the manufacturing equipment like a new born baby. Because problem in the equipment ultimately leads to delay in work and this is not good for any industry.
It is even vital that check-ups, cleaning, upgradation of machines is done on a regular basis. The machine operation should be known by all employees. They must be able to identify signs, indicators and malfunctions of the machine so as to quickly take action and fix it without any delay.
Note: In case of any trouble, immediately report it to the supervisor.
- Chemicals:
If not attended, I can cause death!!!
Chemicals are one of the major reasons for death in manufacturing units. It is imperative that the personnel have a detailed knowledge of the chemical as in its effects, its exposure rate, working efficiency, etc.
In order to avoid any kinds of ill-effects, the chemicals should be labeled so that the personnel understand it easily. And they should be given information before hand regarding the amount to be used, purpose of use, including its adverse effects, etc.
Oh God!! Chemical is so unbearable!!!
- Safety Alarms:
Use alarm and get a reform!!!
Alarms are the most common safety tip available in the manufacturing units. There are various kinds of security systems available. Like monitored systems, unmonitored systems, wireless alarm system and electric alarms.
In the unmonitored kind of security system, a loud siren is heard if the threshold has been crossed and in the wireless alarm system sensors, cameras, beams, etc. can be used. In the end, all these alarms are used for the safeguarding of the manufacturing equipment and sometimes even the factory.

- Heavy Machinery:
OMG! Heavy is so messy!!!
Heavy machinery is another major cause of death in the manufacturing industry. The operator needs to be vigilant when handling the forklift. Any slight disruption can cause injury to the staff outside the forklift.
The staff outside of the forklift must guide the operator, anticipate the movements and notify the operator in case of an emergency.
Use machinery cleanly!!!
- First Aid:
First Aid in the Worst Case!!!
First Aid is a must in any kind of industry and in manufacturing industries it is should and must. Lives of people can be saved to some extent by doing first aid before the arrival of the doctor or the ambulance.
So, it is very necessary there is some of first aid supplements, equipments available with them all the time.
